Major strategic step: Expands the facilities
and sister companies become neighbors
The sister companies TS TECH and EA Automatic will relocate from the Port of Esbjerg at the end of 2026 and become neighbors to HYTOR Group at the current address at Guldborgsundvej in Kjersing, Esbjerg, marking the beginning of a new era. Activities across all sister companies will thus be gathered at one address as neighbors, creating an even stronger foundation for leveraging synergies.
“We believe in the future and in what we can offer as a subcontractor for the production of more renewable energy. Now is the time to act and create the best possible conditions for our employees and our business,” says Niels G. Langerhuus, Owner and CEO of HYTOR Group, who is also the main shareholder of TS TECH Group, the parent company of TS TECH, EA Automatic, and TS TECH Marine.
“We have experienced significant growth in recent years, and already today we are feeling the lack of space in production and warehousing across the three companies. With the current project portfolio, it will be challenging to deliver within our existing framework. The expansion is therefore a necessary investment in both our competitiveness and in the physical environment for our employees. We need space to grow without compromising on quality, efficiency, and well being,” says Dennis Mathiasen, Director at TS TECH and EA Automatic A/S, and continues: “We already collaborate across all companies on both system production and on site service, so it will only be an advantage for both employees and customers that we become neighbors and are physically closer to each other.”
The relocation is a result of limited space and a desire to gather all activities in one place to strengthen collaboration and leverage synergies. The facilities on Guldborgsundvej, which today house only HYTOR Group, will be expanded with a warehouse hall on the opposite side of the road, expanded production areas, new workshop and office facilities, expanded outdoor areas, and an enlarged canteen, ensuring better working conditions and space for additional employees. “We must not only do more of what we are already doing today; we must also think and act differently to remain relevant to our customers,” explains Niels G. Langerhuus, pointing out that collaboration, digitalization, and automation of processes and workflows will be crucial to remaining competitive. “One of the key parameters is also to leverage the synergies across all sister companies. In this way, we can offer a much broader value proposition to our customers,” he adds.
One of the key parameters for ensuring synergy is close collaboration across the organization, including a strong sense of community and a shared foundation for creating value for customers. “Experience from previous consolidations has shown us that it is important to build a strong community across departments and companies if we are to fully leverage synergies. By becoming neighbors at one address, we strengthen both collaboration and culture, which are two extremely important parameters for success,” says Niels G. Langerhuus, while also confirming that this is not a merger of the three companies: “The goal is to maintain individual product focus within each niche across all companies, which offer different but complementary product portfolios, while preserving flexibility. With a shared address, however, we can achieve even closer collaboration in the areas where it makes sense for both employees and customers.” Working groups will now be established to ensure optimal flow and the best possible conditions in the new facilities, which are expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
Facts:
A 2,200 m² warehouse hall will be built on the opposite side of the street from the existing building, where 10,000 m² of outdoor space will also be established for external storage. Production facilities will be expanded by 1,500 m² to the east, creating space for TS TECH, EA Automatic, and new service and calibration facilities. At the same time, office facilities will be expanded with a 500 m² extension connected to the existing administration building via a glass corridor. The entire expansion and renovation will also provide larger canteen facilities and an atrium courtyard for social activities. All three companies will have their own office and production facilities, now gathered at the same address.
